白先勇中大開講崑曲 理大講座演員獻唱

【明報專訊】中文大學昨獲宜高科技創業集團主席余志明及夫人余陳麗娥捐出230萬元，推動本港大學首個「崑曲研究推廣計劃」，並邀得著名崑曲家兼作家白先勇擔任計劃榮譽主任，今年1月開始為中大生開辦《崑曲之美》課程，親自教授其中3課。

計劃會集合崑劇表演藝術家及戲曲專家，一同挖掘崑曲傳統，將折子戲與戲曲文本整理貫串，編成一批有藝術價值的戲曲精品，供崑劇團演出，並讓一般讀者閱讀。

白先勇前晚到理工大學主持公開講座，主題是「崑曲中的愛情」，吸引800多人參加。兩名國家一級演員沈豐英與俞玖林亦到場，配合白先勇演講即場示範，演示《牡丹亭》和《玉簪記》中兩情相悅、男歡女愛的情節，令講座更加有聲有色。

Kunqu Lecture by Professor Pai Hsien-yung

Professor Pai Hsien-yung today (14 March) delivered a talk on "the Beauty of Kunqu" to a full house of audience at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre on the campus of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).

Jointly organised by the Department of Chinese Culture and the Culture Promotion Committee, this event was also part of the celebration activities for PolyU's 75th Anniversary.

Professor Pai will deliver his second lecture on "Love in Kunqu Opera" at the Jockey Club Auditorium on 19 March Monday.
