林鄭赴印出席論壇 哥倫比亞大學驅動保育

林鄭所出席的印度論壇, 是由哥倫比亞大學建築、規劃及歷史保護研究院(Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, 簡稱: GSAPP )及其設立的Studio X, 聯同Sustainable Urbanism International所舉辦的。


GSAPP一直致力推動保育教育。其設立的Studio X, 座落於世界不同城市, 包括北京 (Beijing, China), 孟買 (Mumbai, India), 里約熱內盧 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 紐約 (New York, USA), 約旦安曼 (Amman, Jordan), 是用作探討城市未來的實驗室。


而GSAPP的Historic Preservation Program始於1965年, 是全美國歷史最悠久的保育課程。她的Director對本年新生所寫的見面信, 又再讓我想起當初我講保育的因由:
