今天的摩天大樓, 於100年後, 當被更高的大廈超越, 可能成為被保育的對象。情況就如現時民間想保育唐樓、街角的CornerHouse。當代建築的特色, 在下一個世紀可能會灰飛湮滅。

更有趣的是, 或許100年後, 從報導的字裡行間, 世人能窺視世界於一個世紀前對不同國家的看法: "Ryugyong Hotel, Pyongyang, North Korea  - Fast fact: The hotel has held the Guinness World Record for world's tallest unoccupied building for an unenviable 21 years.  The world's tallest unoccupied building is undoubtedly an icon -- though probably not one you'd wish to be associated with."
